LINKS Boys & Girls After School Academy!
Spring break is quickly approaching! The students are looking forward to going to our overnight camp April 11-13, 2012 at Salt ForK Resort. This camp is free to the students that attend the academy. Many of these students would not have the opportunity to experience an overnight camp. Some of the activities the students will take part in; horseback riding, paint ball, archery, indoor swimming, anger management seminar, how to set and achieve personal goals, and other training session focused on personal development and camp fire stories.
It cost $175 for each student to go to camp for 2 nights and 3 days. This year LINKS will be taking 18 students and 10 adults. Each year LINKS depend on individual, companies, and funders to help sponsor this wonderful experience for the students. This year LINKS has not receive all the funds needed to send these student to camp. If you or your organization would like to sponsor a student or more please contact our office.

Upson St. Houses to Homes Project is done. A collaboration between University Park Alliance, Rebuilding Together and LINKS was formed to rehab houses in the UPA area and within a short period of time houses turned into homes. All the residents where surprised when they realized that their houses would be transformed into beautiful homes that they could be proud of. Internal and external work was done and the Upson St. homes are one step closer towards the revitalizing of the neighborhood.
